Stamford Market's Shopping Night to Aid Homeless

STAMFORD, Conn. – Fairway Market in Stamford will continue its long relationship with St. Luke’s LifeWorks this week when it hosts a Shopping Night. Twenty-five percent of all sales will be donated to the charity.

In the past, the grocery store has provided clients of the organization with training opportunities in the culinary arts and professional communication. The market also has hired dozens of clients.

St. Luke’s LifeWorks is the largest provider of services for the homeless in Fairfield County.

The shopping night will be Wednesday, Oct. 5, from 4 to 9 p.m. Fairway Market is located at 699 Canal St.
