Stamford Market Scares Up a Halloween Show

STAMFORD, Conn. – The sounds you hear echoing through the aisles of Stamford’s Fairway Market Saturday afternoon will be the strains of “Moey’s Music Party Halloween Extravaganza.” The children’s entertainer, aka Melisa Levis, will perform holiday-themed songs such as “Boo” and “Go Away Monster,” a press release said.

Moey performs pop tunes for kids with her band, “Moey’s Music Party,” all over the New York area. Her website says the music is both entertaining and educational. The band’s success has led her to be dubbed “The Pied Piper in Pink.” Levis is also an award-winning Off-Broadway songwriter, the release said.

The event will take place from 3 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, in the café at Fairway,  located at 699 Canal St. Children are encouraged to wear costumes.
