STAMFORD, Conn. Food lovers are sure to leave the Ferguson Library licking their chops Wednesday night following a talk by writers Gabrielle Hamilton and Colman Andrews. The event is part of the Friends Author Series at the Stamford library.
Hamilton is chef/owner of Prune in Manhattans East Village and author of the memoir Blood, Bones & Butter. She has also had articles published in The New York Times, The New Yorker and Food & Wine.
Andrews is the founder and editor-in-chief of Saveur Magazine and a former columnist for Gourmet Magazine. He is the co-author and co-editor of three Saveur books and author of six of his own books, the latest being The Country Cooking of Italy, due in November.
The event starts at 6 p.m. with a wine and cheese reception. Tickets are $15 and proceeds go to the library. People can register online or by calling (203) 351-8275.
