Stamford Library Whips up Talks on Food

STAMFORD, Conn. – Food lovers are sure to leave the Ferguson Library licking their chops Wednesday night following a talk by writers Gabrielle Hamilton and Colman Andrews. The event is part of the Friends Author Series at the Stamford library

Hamilton is chef/owner of Prune in Manhattan’s East Village and author of the memoir “Blood, Bones & Butter.” She has also had articles published in The New York Times, The New Yorker and Food & Wine.

Andrews is the founder and editor-in-chief of Saveur Magazine and a former columnist for Gourmet Magazine. He is the co-author and co-editor of three Saveur books and author of six of his own books, the latest being “The Country Cooking of Italy,” due in November.

The event starts at 6 p.m. with a wine and cheese reception. Tickets are $15 and proceeds go to the library. People can register online or by calling (203) 351-8275.
