Stamford Library to Welcome Mystery Writers

STAMFORD, Conn. – Three bestselling mystery authors will come to Stamford on Nov. 2 as part as the Friends of the Ferguson Library Author Series. The panel will include Steve Berry, Andrew Gross, and Peter Spiegelman, a library press release said.

Berry, has written many books including New York Times best sellers, “he Paris Vendetta,” “The Emperor’s Tomb,” and “The Amber Room.” His books have been translated in 37 languages and sold in 50 countries, the release said.

Gross, has penned several New York Times and International Best Sellers, including “The Blue Zone” and “Don’t Look Twice,” and “The Dark Tide” which was nominated for Best Thriller of the Year by the International Thriller Writers. He has also co-authored books with James Patterson.

Spiegelman is a 4-time Shamus Award winner for, “Thick as Thieves,” “Black Maps,” “Death’s Little Helpers,” and “Red Cat.” Prior to starting his writing career he spent over 20 years  in the financial services and software industries, and worked with leading banks and brokerages around the world, the release said.

Before the talk there will be a wine reception with appetizers, the release said. After, the authors’ books will be on sale and available for signing, the release said.

The event is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. at the main library. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased on-line or by calling (203)351-8275.
