“Family Day represents an opportunity for families to share important quality time with each other and at the same time have the opportunity to be connected to the many community resources and services that might be of benefit to them," said Director of Health and Social Services Anne Fountain.
Family Day features free food and music, as well as pony rides, face painting, magic tricks and a petting zoo. Mayor David Martin will visit between 11 a.m. and noon. Family Day also offers programs, services and information from community groups and agencies including police, fire, health and safety.
Free prizes, such as movie tickets, bicycles, iPods, iPads, gift certificates to ShopRite and more, will be raffled.
The Boys & Girls Club is at 347 Stillwater Ave.
