Pros Talk Up Affordable Luxury in Stamford

Andrew Handschin and Scott La Du of Betteridge Jewelers in Greenwich were on hand for a meet and greet on affordable luxury last week in Stamford. The event at the Hotel Zero Degrees was attended by nearly 100 Fairfield County male professionals. Handschin and La Du shared their knowledge of watches.

Also present were men’s designer Salvatore Giardina from Sak’s Fifth Avenue; former Knick John Starks of Cigar Lounge; International Beverage’s Scotch and cognac expert Dave Conroy; Sterling Farms golf pro Robert LaRosa; Columbus Park’s restaurant’s Michael Marchetti; Lou Liodori of Mercedes Benz of Greenwich; Fabricare founder Michael Asterino; men’s fashion writer Frank Schipani; Luxury Links travel expert James Murray, and a team from Stamford Magazine.

Stamford Motor Sports reps talked up their 2011 Can-Am Spyder Roadster, touted as the most “affordable vehicle” on the road today.
