Andrew Handschin and Scott La Du of Betteridge Jewelers in Greenwich were on hand for a meet and greet on affordable luxury last week in Stamford. The event at the Hotel Zero Degrees was attended by nearly 100 Fairfield County male professionals. Handschin and La Du shared their knowledge of watches.
Also present were mens designer Salvatore Giardina from Saks Fifth Avenue; former Knick John Starks of Cigar Lounge; International Beverages Scotch and cognac expert Dave Conroy; Sterling Farms golf pro Robert LaRosa; Columbus Parks restaurants Michael Marchetti; Lou Liodori of Mercedes Benz of Greenwich; Fabricare founder Michael Asterino; mens fashion writer Frank Schipani; Luxury Links travel expert James Murray, and a team from Stamford Magazine.
Stamford Motor Sports reps talked up their 2011 Can-Am Spyder Roadster, touted as the most affordable vehicle on the road today.
