STAMFORD, Conn. Mary C. Pellegrino, a lifelong Stamford resident, died Tuesday, April 23. She was 89.
Born April 15, 1923, she was the daughter of Louis and Louise Frate Pellegrino. She worked at Chamberlains Card Shop and retired from the Stamford Board of Education, where she worked for many years.
Pellegrino is survived by a brother, John Pellegrino; three sisters-in-law; three nephews and a niece. She was predeceased by five brothers, Nicholas, Michael, Daniel, Justin and Joseph Pellegrino.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Friday at Sacred Heart Church in Stamford. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery in Darien. The Lacerenza Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
