Hear Haydn and Mozart at Stamford Library

STAMFORD, Conn. — Joseph Haydn and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart are coming to the Ferguson Library ... well, at least their music is. The Lumina String Quartet will perform the works of the classical greats on Aug. 4.

The free concert is presented by the Community Arts Partnership Program in Stamford and the Friends of the Ferguson Library.

The Community Arts Partnership Program helps local non-profits and community organizations bring art to Stamford, a press release said. Individual artists can take part if they have a sponsor, according to the release. The city will distribute up to $50,000 over the current fiscal year as part of the program.

The Aug. 4 show starts at 6:30 p.m. and will be in the third floor auditorium of the main library.
