Greenwich Company Offers a Free House Painting

GREENWICH, Conn. — A.G. Williams Painting Company is looking for a veteran, police officer, firefighter or emergency service volunteer with a home in the Greenwich/Stamford area that needs a coat of paint.

The company recently opened an office in Old Greenwich and is seeking nominations for the paint job, valued at $15,000.  The work will be done in the fall.

“We want to recognize a person or family who is active in the community and is working hard to make ends meet,” said Paul Viggiano, director of business development and marketing. “The economy has forced that homeowner to neglect the appearance of the house, so paint is peeling, a painting contractor is not in the household budget, and the job is too big to handle alone.”

To nominate a candidate, visit the A.G. Williams Painting Company "Home in Need" web site. Requested information includes a description of the homeowner, including community involvement and special circumstances, and a description and photographs of the house. The deadline for submitting nominations is Aug. 31.

A.G. Williams Painting Company is located at 26 Arcadi Road in Greenwich. Call (203) 618-0058 for more information.
