STAMFORD, Conn. General Electric will host its second annual United at the Cove fundraiser on Tuesday, Sept. 20. Proceeds will benefit the United Way. Last year, $13,000 was raised.
While walkers are welcome, medals will be given out to the fastest runners, to teams and in a variety of other categories.
Registration for the 5K walk/run is $25 and must be completed before Monday, Sept. 19, at 2 p.m. Sign-in for the event will begin at 4 p.m., and the walk/run will start at 5:45 p.m. at Cove Island Park.
