Artists Wanted to 'Horse Around' Downtown Stamford

STAMFORD, Conn. — Artists are needed to participate in Stamford's 2012 summer exhibit program, “Horsin’ Around Stamford Downtown.”

Artists wil paint, decorate and sculpt fiberglass horses that will be displayed downtown from June through August. In addition to local and regional artists, students from public and private schools throughout the city will also participate in this art event, a Stamford Downtown Special Services District press release said.

In addition to the application, artists must submit designs of their work. Applications are due Feb. 10 and can be found on the Stamford Downtown website. For more information, call 203-348-5285.
