STAMFORD, Conn. --Two Stamford chefs will test their culinary chops -- and compete against each other --  on an upcoming edition of "Chopped.

Steve Costanzo, the chef/owner at Olio and Jean J, chef/co-owner at Soul Tasty will both be contestants on the Food Network show Thursday, Dec. 7. The show was filmed earlier this year.

The series, for those who don't watch, pits four chefs against each other as they compete for a chance to win $10,000. Each chef has to create an appetizer, entree, and dessert.

Who will win? Tune in at 9 p.m. or join the Soul Tasty and Olio teams in Stamford.

Soul Tasty will be hosting a viewing party (open to the public) that night from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at Acuario (78 W. Park Place) while Olio will be streaming the show beginning Friday night at their restaurant (934 Hope Street).
