TV Host Trisha Goddard's Favorite Things About Stamford

STAMFORD, Conn. — Television host Trisha Goddard just began filming her show, “Trisha Goddard” in the Stamford Media Center in August, but already has found several aspects of the city agreeable to her.

Topping her list of favorite things around Stamford is the eclectic mix of people, comparing it to New York City with the amount of different places from which people come. She just hopes the city realizes it and capitalizes on all of the unique cultures.

Another attractive aspect of Stamford is its’ “vibe” in the early evenings, Goddard said.

She also enjoys the traffic system and the transportation center, which has made it easy for her to visit Boston and New York when she can.

Goddard has gone trail running around Mianus River Park, and as much as she likes the park, she also likes the people that helped her return to her car after getting herself lost.

Rounding out her top five list was the shopping, specifically mentioning Lord & Taylor’s.

“I've been doing a lot of discovering and I have a lot more discovering to do,” Goddard said.
