“We thought it would be fun to name our new kid girls after two women who are always ‘kiddin’ around,” Victoria Marr, co-manager of Heckscher Farm at the Stamford Museum & Nature Center, said in a statement. “Kathie Lee and Hoda immediately came to mind.”

The two goats made an appearance on "Today" on Friday, surprising the two hosts. Marr, who accompanied the goats on the show, also got to meet the Gifford and Kotb and explain how the kids ended up with their names.

“This is better than the Maxim list; how many people have one of these,” Gifford said, teasing Kotb, who was recently named to the Maxim Hot 100 list. Gifford said she may have to make the short trip from her Greenwich home to Stamford to visit the goats.

“That was so exciting,” Kotb said after meeting the goats. “They are so cute.”

Kathie Lee was born on May 1 to mom Delilah. Hoda was born on May 3 with a twin brother to mom Butterscotch.
