STAMFORD, Conn. -- Want to name your own beer?
Thanks to Plan b Restaurants, you can. The team from the nine-restaurant chain will be brewing its own flagship beer in partnership with Harpoon Brewery --- and is asking the public to help come up with its name.
The proprietary beer -- a hoppy, well-balanced and aromatic unfiltered Pale Ale -- will be available on draft at Plan b Restaurants’ nine eateries-- think Stamford and Fairfield --- and will launch in late January.
The contest goes from Dec.1 to Dec. 7 and takes place on Plan b Restaurants’ website, in the restaurants or on its main Facebook page. Names will be narrowed down to the top four later in the month with a final fan vote Dec. 9 to 14.
The person who wins gets to go (with a guest) to Plan b Restaurants in Boston on Jan. 11 to brew the inaugural batch; all expenses included.
