STAMFORD, Conn. -- If it's quirky, Steve Wood will find it.
The West Hartford man recently was at the Ukrainian Museum and Library of Stamford, the 299th museum in the state he has visited since 2006, according to a New York Times story.
Wood, 42, wanted to start a humor website that would poke fun of obscure local cultural sites, the story said.
Since his first post in October 2006, Wood has broadened the topics he covers beyond just museum visits, the story said.
The museum, at 161 Glenbrook Road, is open from 1-5 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays and by appointment. It is closed all major holidays
