While plenty of great restaurants are already booked you still have these seven great places in Fairfield County to treat your favorite mom on Mother's Day. But definitely, call ahead for reservations.
Molly D'Arcy's, 39 Mill Plain Road, Danbury, 203-794-0449: Everyone here feels like a regular especially on Mother's Day when brunch and dinner specials noon to 4 p.m. and a live R&B band will make celebrating here a lot of fun.
"Food was excellent, drinks were good and service was out of this world, David and Kat took care of us and treated us like we were regulars," said a Yelp post.39 Mill Plain Rd
Hub & Spoke, 3001 Fairfield Ave., Black Rock, 203-345-9110: There are four seating times at the American tapas bar that serves craft beer, including a later time, 4:30 p.m.
"Great Sunday Brunch," said a Facebook comment, while another said, "Wonderful staff! Our waitress Sarah was just adorable and very good at her job. The food was delicious and the ambiance divine."
Washington Prime, 141 Washington St., Norwalk, 203-857-1314: There are three seatings to enjoy prime rib, leg of lamb, Eggs Benedict, smoked salmon, steak, and more.
"Overall the staff is lovely , the steamed clams, slab bacon , bone in filet mignon .... Devine! I can go every week ! Which I do!", someone said on Facebook.
Bartaco, 20 Wilton Road, Westport, 203-222-8226: While the normal varied menu are being served on the holiday it is one of three days a year they take reservations, a manager told Daily Voice.
Dexter U. of Bridgeport posted this Yelp review, "This place was AMAZING. Every dish was absolutely delicious. Courses came out promptly and everything was fresh and flavorful. My favorites were the Baja tacos, corn fritters, and the churros for dessert. Five stars and our strong recommendation!" (203) 222-8226
Long Ridge Tavern, 2635 Long Ridge Road, Stamford, 203-329-7818: First of all kids eat for half the price for Sunday Brunch which is $26.99 at this restaurant and antique shop, from a colossal menu with Belgian waffles, crab cakes, pasta, ribs, and plenty more.
Several reviews describe the restaurant as family oriented.
Jason F., of Stamford on Yelp, posted, "Thank goodness for this tavern...Maria is the best and the owners are so sweet. They always remember us and adore our family. They just repainted and it's bright and filled with joy. Best chicken fingers for kids and a darn-tootin' burger and onion blossom. Best tavern in CT!"
Spinning Wheel Inn, 109 Black Rock Turnpike, Redding, 203-664-4000: From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. brunch will be served with items like barbecued ribs, buttermilk chicken, salmon with mango salsa and plenty other delicious sounding options on the day's menu.

On food, the same reviewer posted, "Since we were only there for lunch, we enjoyed a luscious kale salad with sautéed shrimp, sinfully rich bacon mac & cheese and probably the best clam chowder I have ever eaten."
Venice Restaurant & Pizza, 125 Danbury Road, Ridgefield, 203-438-7007. Open since 1973, Ridgefielders rave about this Copps Hill Plaza institution. They serve great pizza, by the slice, and Italian food, in a dining room and outdoor patio, and never turn customers away. Everyone gets in with our without a reservation but make one anyway.
On Yelp Anita F., of Oxford, PA, said, "Was craving good chicken parm and found this place on Yelp. SO GOOD!!! The chicken parm was delicious and the cannoli absolutely the best I have had. The service was great even though they were incredibly busy on a Wed night! I can't wait to return so I can try the other items that also looked scrumptious!
If you feel like taking your mom just over the border you may want to try Kala Bistro, 1995 Whitney Ave., North Haven, 203-889-2275. Why? Specials Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. cost $29, which is a three-course meal with such dishes as duck confit risotto, spaghetti with grape tomato, broccoli, butternut squash, zucchini in a lemon-garlic sauce from noon to 6 p.m. They are also still taking reservations.
