“I am honored to host exciting and growing Connecticut industries, from craft breweries and farm to table restaurants, to landmarks like Lego and the Mystic Aquarium,” said Blumenthal. “Discover Connecticut showcases the energy and creativity of businesses, restaurants, and manufacturers from across our great state. Senator Murphy and I couldn’t be more excited to welcome old and new friends and colleagues tomorrow to discover all Connecticut has to offer.”
“I’m so glad we have the chance to showcase local Connecticut businesses in Washington,” said Murphy. “I consider it my job to promote Connecticut wherever I go. Discover Connecticut will give people in Washington the opportunity to learn about the wide variety of products and activities we have in our state. From well-known companies like Pez and Newman’s Own and tourist attractions like the Mystic Aquarium to the growing number of small breweries, wineries, and restaurants, we have a lot to be proud of.”
