Transportation Chief Addressing Stamford Business Community On $100B Plan

STAMFORD, Conn. -- On Wednesday, Sept. 16, Connecticut's Transportation Commissioner James Redeker will be the keynote speaker at a luncheon on Let's Go CT.

This is a multibillion-dollar plan aimed to revamp Connecticut's roadways and other modes of transportation. 

The luncheon will take place at 11:30 a.m. at the Stamford Marriott Hotel & Spa, 243 Tresser Blvd.

Check-in is at noon.

Earlier this year, Gov. Dannel Malloy launched Let's GO CT, a 30-year long-range plan that calls that for a $100 billion investment in transportation. 

Redeker will speak with the business community of Stamford, Norwalk, Greenwich and Darien to discuss the governor's vision.

The event is hosted by the Stamford Chamber of Commerce, Norwalk Chamber of Commerce, Greenwich Chamber of Commerce and Darien Chamber of Commerce. 

Cost is $50 per person. Prepayment is required through online registration before Friday, Sept. 11.
