STAMFORD, Conn. -- End Allergies Together raised more than $100,000 at its inaugural event at the BLT Financial Centre in Stamford.
Sheinelle Jones of NBC News' "Weekend Today" hosted the event, and "Today" host Willie Geist also was in attendance.
The organization was co-founded by Kim Hall, of Stamford, and Elise Bates, of Fairfield, to raise money for research dedicated to food allergies.
The fundraiser featured a silent auction and a panel with three leading food allergy researchers.
