Stamford Theater To Put On Neil Simon's 'The Goodbye Girl'

STAMFORD, Conn. — Neil Simon’s musical adaptation of “The Goodbye Girl,” will be taking the Stamford stage later this month for Curtain Call’s first show of the season.

"I am a huge Neil Simon fan and this script is as good a comedy as his better-known works," Lou Ursone, executive director of Curtain Call, said in a press release.

Starring in the production are Stamford actors Jeff Porper and Donna Fox, who both have experience on the Curtain Call stage. Directing Porper, Fox, and the rest of the cast of local actors will be Ben Frimmer of Weston.

The performances will be in the Kweskin Theatre from Sept. 14 through Oct. 6 on Fridays and Saturday nights at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.  Ticket prices are $29 for adults, $22 for senior citizens and $14.50 for students and children.  There will also be two Thursday evening performances on September 27 and October 4 at $20 a ticket.
