The Stamford Symphony and Pro Arte Singers will perform the concert.
"Messiah" written in 1742 is Handel’s best-known, best-loved and most performed work today.
The Pro Arte Singers, a fully professional chorus, were formed in 1972 by current artistic director, Arthur Sjögren, and a small group of professional singers who shared his dream to perform the finest choral music dating from the Renaissance to the present.
For more information and tickets, visit www.stamfordsymphony.org or call 203-325-1407, ext. 10.
The concert will begin at 8 p.m. at the church, 279 Atlantic St.
