The second annual expo will feature information on nutrition, weight management, children’s health, pet wellness, fitness programs, spa and beauty treatments, financial health, green technology, lifetime sports, alternative medicine and fitness demonstrations.
Guests will include Miss USA 2013 Erin Brody, a Connecticut resident and a spokeswoman for breast and ovarian cancer education.
There will be face painting, clowns and fun kids activities as well.
Admission to the event is free and is open to all ages. Those who bring in one or more nonperishable food items will receive a free raffle ticket for a chance to win healthy door prizes. Raffle tickets also can be purchased for $5.
SATURDAY
11 a.m. to 5 p.m. 75 Exhibitors - pet wellness, weight loss, nutrition, fitness, green technology, alternative medicine, children’s health, vision and dental health, concussion awareness and more. Fitness, Martial Arts and Dance Demos. Produced by TMK Sports & Entertainment. Raffle and silent auction to benefit Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County.
Free Health Screenings for men and women provided by Stamford Hospital on the first floor for blood glucose, blood pressure, cardiac Stroke Risk Assessment, Cholesterol, Hand Hygiene, Pulmonary Function Tests and Mammogram Screenings. The Stamford Hospital Mobile Wellness Center will be parked outside Chelsea Piers.
