Grab A Book At A Bargain Price During Stamford Library Sale

STAMFORD, Conn -- Grab a book for the beach or a bunch of books at the Stamford Friends Book Shop summer sale now through July 9.

The Book Shop, with locations at the Main Library and Harry Bennett Branch, is offering books of all kinds during the annual sale. In addition to the book sale, they will also hold a sidewalk sale July 16 and 17.

Books are priced at $1 to $3.

After both of the above sales wrap up, cooking and gardening fans will want to come back for a 50 percent off sale from July 24 to August 6.

The Book Shop is open during library hours and is the only used and independent book store in Stamford. All proceeds support the library. The shop is currently looking for volunteers. Book lovers should apply at friendsoffergusonlibrary.org.
