The event, sponsored New England Fertility Institute, is being held in conjunction with National Infertility Awareness Week which runs April 23 to 30. The goal is to educate folks about the modern therapies that can help improve chances of conception.
Those who RSVP can expect a morning of massage, yoga, acupuncture, Reiki, nutrition, and life coaching from a number of naturopathic practitioners. Also on hand: Gad Lavy, MD, the Institute's medical director.
"Statistically, one in eight couples in our area will have difficulty conceiving, but most can be successfully treated with modern therapies—often with minimal intervention," explained Dr. Lavy
"Our goal is to serve as a local resource in helping women and men find answers and get the support they need while facing the complex medical, emotional, social, and economic challenges infertility can present.”
