The film will be shown at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Avon Theatre Film Center, 272 Bedford St., Stamford, according to a press release. The New York Times said the film was "so full of love that to define it may make it sound like a religious experience, which, of course, it is -- but in a wonderfully unorthodox, cockeyed way,” according to the release.
"Whimsical, nostalgic, and irrepressibly romantic, Stolen Kisses is Truffaut’s timeless ode to the passion and impetuosity of youth," representatives said in the release.
Tickets are free for Carte Blanche members, $6 for members and AFG, $8 for students and seniors and $11 for non-members. Residents can call the Avon box office at 203-967-3660, Ext. 2 for tickets.
To learn more about the film, residents are asked to visit the Avon Theatre Film Center's website.
