STAMFORD, CT. -- New York Times critic Patricia Brooks gave Stamford's Dolce Cubano Restaurant an 'excellent' rating in Sunday's paper.

Brooks called the service "friendly" and "accommodating" and the small plates "seductively creative".

"From start to finish, everything we tried at Dolce Cubano was terrific. It’s no surprise that the restaurant is popular — for a quiet dinner, go early or late," wrote Brooks.
