Stamford Nonprofits Get $134K In Grants From Bank's Foundation

STAMFORD, Conn. — The First County Bank Foundation awarded $134,294 in grants to 18 Stamford-based nonprofit organizations.

The money will go to programs designed for housing, job skills and training, students, and health and wellness, said a statement from the foundation.

The organizations and award amount is as follows:

? Neighbors Link Stamford, $5,000

? New Neighborhoods Inc., $15,000

? Rebuilding Together, $5,000

? The Salvation Army, $5,000

? Senior Services of Stamford, $10,000

? The Center For Sexual Assault Crisis Education and Counseling, $5,000

? Shelter for the Homeless, $10,000

? SoundWaters, $10,000

? St. Luke’s LifeWorks, $10,000

? St. Joseph Parenting Center, $2,000

? Stamford Emergency Medical Services, $9,793.56

? Stamford Partnership, $5,000

? Stamford Public Education Foundation, $2,500

? Stamford Senior Center, $5,000

? Starfish Connection, $5,000

? Technology Solutions for Nonprofits c/o United Way of Western Connecticut, $5,000

? The United Way, $15,000

? Yerwood Center, $10,000
