Stamford HR Business Receives Sam's Club Grant

STAMFORD, Conn. ? A Stamford-based human resources consulting company has been given a boost this holiday season from the Sam’s Club Giving Program and SCORE.

The assistance will allow Pro Way Development to upgrade its HR educational programs.

“Working with SCORE has provided a foundation to help my business grow,” Laura Jacob, owner of Pro Way Development, said in a release, “I am flattered and excited by the award, the upcoming training, and the access to tools for my business from Sam’s Club.”

Sam’s Club and SCORE provided more than $500,000 in supplies and training to 102 small businesses across the country, the release said. Businesses were chosen based on need and commitment to improve.

Pro Way Development helps organizations reduce human resource costs and increase productivity through effective hiring, employee management and training.

SCORE is a nonprofit that helps small businesses get off the ground, grow and achieve their goals through education and mentorship.
