“I wish everyone could experience what makes ballroom dancing so awesome. It can literally change lives,” Dovolani said in a news release.

He and celebrity partner Melissa Rycroft of "The Bachelor," won the Mirror Ball Trophy Tuesday night. The two were paired together in Season 8 of the show when they finished third.

“I am very proud to have had this incredible experience teaching and coaching her. She’s a wonderful partner and truly deserved to be crowned a champion of the All-Star season,” Dovolani said in the release.

Fellow co-owners and professional dancers on the ABC reality competition, Maksim and Valentin Chmerkovskiy also expressed their joy for Dovolani in the release.

“He deserved it. I'm truly happy for him and Melissa. Tony is family and I feel like the trophy is going to the same team” said Valentin, who finished in third with Kelly Monaco of “General Hospital."

“It’s hard to describe the joy I felt when I heard that Tony and Melissa were the winners. I've known him for 14 years, and he is like my older brother, so if he or Val would win, it would be my brother with the trophy.” said Maksim, who made it to the semi-finals with Kirstie Alley.

The studio’s promotion will run through Dec. 15. Dance With Me Stamford is located at 20 Summer St., and can be reached at 203-674-8100.
