“Seeing the look of joy on the kids’ faces made it one of the most meaningful activities we’ve done as a global HR group. We hope those kids have a wonderful time with their new bikes,” Tami Polmanteer, Daymon Worldwide’s chief human resources officer, said in a statement from the company.
The bikes were built by 50 human resource associates from around the globe as part of Daymon’s Global Human Resource Summit, the statement said. The bikes were also inspected by Dave’s Cycles to make sure they were road safe, and the organization supplied the children with helmets and bike locks.
“It was an incredibly rewarding experience for our human resources associates to learn more about elevating their team building skills in a way that benefits local kids in need,” Polmanteer said.
