STAMFORD, Conn. — Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH will hold the grand opening of its newest store at Stamford Town Center on Thursday, June 25.

The new 56,259-square-foot store features a selection of more than 800 of the most sought-after brands with discounts of up to 70 percent.

In celebration of the grand opening, Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH is hosting a weekend of festivities filled with fashion, fun, entertainment and fabulous giveaways.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to open our second Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH in Connecticut,” said Jonathan Greller, president of outlets for Hudson’s Bay Co. “Stamford will be an exciting and important market for us, as we expand our brand in the tri-state area. With our fantastic merchandise selection and renowned prices, we look forward to opening our doors and welcoming the shoppers into our newest store.”

To celebrate the grand opening Thursday, shoppers are welcome to visit the store an hour before the opening for a chance to win fabulous prizes. Some $100 gift cards will be awarded every 15 minutes, from 9 a.m. until doors open at 10 a.m., and one winner will walk away with a $500 shopping spree.

The festivities continue through Sunday with great giveaways and a live DJ on site who will entertain guests throughout the weekend.

The first 100 shoppers to arrive at the store from Thursday to Sunday will receive a special chocolate bar containing one of four golden tickets that are redeemable for $100 gift cards.

The new Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH is in the Stamford Town Center at 140 Atlantic St.
