STAMFORD, Conn. Downtown welcomed a new restaurant this past weekend when Plan B Burger Bar opened its doors in the Stamford Town Center.
Stamford is a great, energetic city full of young professionals and families with deep connections and roots within the community. Its a natural fit for both our staff and our customers, Shawn M. Skehan, co-founder and president of Locals 8 Restaurant Group, Plan Bs parent company, said in a statement.
Plan B is a 4,500-square-foot upscale burger bar with a bar, outdoor patio and dining room. Although the restaurant is part of a chain, each is slightly different, offering fresh, seasonal fruits and vegetables produced locally as well as regionally brewed beers.
We pride ourselves in building relationships within the community, whether its a local farm or a brewery, said Allie J. Gamble, founder and chief executive officer of Locals 8 Restaurant Group.
The bar features a variety of American craft beers and bourbon and has certified Cicerones to help customers find something they will enjoy, the statement said. Well help you to discover that new beer or cocktail that you never knew youd like, Lena DiGenti, director of Branding and Culture, said in the statement.
The first Plan B was opened in 2006. Stamford is its fifth location, with plans to open a sixth later this month in Springfield, Mass.
Plan B is located at 230 Tresser Blvd. and can be reached at 203-964-8353. The kitchen will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays with the bar open until 1 a.m. those days. The kitchen will be open Fridays and Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. with the bar open until 2 a.m.
