A portion of all proceeds on grand opening day were donated to the Boys & Girls Club of Stamford, according to the eatery’s Facebook page.
COBS Bread representatives say their bread is made daily from 100 percent whole grain flour, and that they do not add sugar, color, or preservatives.
Their leftover bread is donated at the end of each day to local charities.
COBS Bread is at 1057 High Ridge Road, Stamford.
Operating hours are 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays and Mondays, and 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.
