The company announced it would open its nearly 45,000 square-foot-store at 110 High Ridge Road in Stamford on Thursday, December 12, at 9 a.m.

Whole Foods renovated the Lord & Taylor store that was at that location prior, which will give this grocery store a more "boutique feel", the company said.

Along with the typical grocery items, the store will feature full-service seafood and meat counters, more than 220 craft beers with over 30 local labels, a hot bar, a salad bar, and pizza station, and a bakery. Shoppers can also order fresh-made sushi as well.

The location will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
