The arrival of an unsettled weather pattern will bring widespread showers and scattered thunderstorms to the region.

Saturday, June 11 will start off with a mix of clouds and sun, according to the National Weather Service. Clouds will then thicken and isolated showers will be possible in the afternoon and evening.

High temperatures will reach the upper 70s to near 80 with comfortably humidity levels and light winds.

Sunday, June 12 will be mostly cloudy with a high temperature in the low 70s and showers developing by midday.

Showers will become widespread in the afternoon and evening, with scattered thunderstorms at times.

Showers will continue with more storms possible Sunday night.

Areas where there are locally heavy storms could see flooding.

A total of between a half-inch and an inch of rain is possible from the system.

Monday, June 13 will become mostly sunny and warmer, with a high temperature in the low 80s.

Look for more of the same on Tuesday, June 14 with partly cloudy skies and a high temperature in the low 80s.
