18-Year-Old UConn Student Killed In Shooting: Suspect At Large An 18-year-old who was a student at the University of Connecticut was killed in a shooting that also resulted in a motor vehicle crash in Hartford, police said. The incident happened on Tuesday, June 13 just after 10:30 p.m., when Hartford police officers responded to the area of High Street and Walnut Street on a reported car crash, according to  Lt. Aaron Boisvert.  There, officers found a young man outside the vehicle who was suffering from gunshot wounds.
