Suspect Nabbed After Claiming To Have Gun In Danbury Rite Aid Robbery A self-described drug addict is facing a host of charges after allegedly threatening a Danbury pharmacist with a gun to get amphetamines. Thomas James Redmond, 22, was arrested on Sunday, July 29, Danbury Police Det. Lt. Mark Williams announced this week, following a brief investigation to an alleged robbery at Rite Aid on Mill Plain Road. Police said that Redmond, a Ridgefield resident, entered the store, claiming to have a gun, then forced a pharmacist to open a safe and took two bottles of amphetamines.
