A passenger's sarcastic comment about having a bomb in his bag triggered a major security response, delaying flights at Tweed New Haven Airport on Thursday, Feb. 13, as security officials searched for the non-existent threat. The passenger made the remark around 11 a.m. while boarding Avelo Flight 295 to Charlotte. Unusual Pistol Replica Makes It Through Airport Security In CT
TSA agents in Connecticut made an interesting find in one woman's carry-on bag. On Tuesday, Jan. 10, TSA officers at Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks found a replica of a Flintlock pistol that had been retooled into a key hook in the bag, according to a tweet by TSA New England spokesman Dan Velez.
