Man Dies After Being Struck By Car On Busy CT Roadway An investigation is underway after a 41-year-old man was killed after being struck by a car on a busy Connecticut roadway. The incident happened around 5:25 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 30 in Tolland County, in the Town of Andover. An Audi A7 Quattro Prestige was traveling eastbound on Route 6 approximately 500 feet east of Hickory Hill Drive and the man was walking along the right shoulder of Route 6 eastbound, Connecticut State Police said. 44-Year-Old Man Killed In Two-Vehicle Crash, CT State Police Say A head-on crash in Connecticut led to the death of a driver at an area hospital, state police announced. In Tolland County, a 34-year-old driver was traveling east on Route 6 in Andover at approximately 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 22 when he lost control and veered into the opposite lane, striking Windham County resident Andrew Moore, of Moosup, near the intersection of Route 87. The driver struck Moore, age 44, head-on, and both men were transported to an area hospital for treatment.
