Greatest Bluefish Tournament Offers Long Island Sound Anglers $40K In Prizes Long Island Sound anglers can win up to $40K in cash prizes at The Port Jeff Ferry Greatest Bluefish Tournament on Earth. The 37th annual event returns with a $25,000 cash prize and all you have to do to win is fish. The tournament on Saturday, Aug. 24 starts at 12:01 a.m. throughout all of Long Island Sound and runs to Sunday, Aug. 25 at 5 p.m. The grand prize of $25,000 goes to the heaviest bluefish, 2nd place takes home $7,500 and 3rd place gets $2,500.  In addition, there are cash prizes for 4th through 20th place.  The tournament also offers a "port prize" for the heaviest…
