Bouncer Shot Outside Bar In Bridgeport A bouncer was shot outside a bar in the area overnight. It happened on Sunday, Nov. 10 on Barnum Avenue in Bridgeport. When Bridgeport Police patrol units responded to Perfections Lounge on Barnum Avenue at around 9:45 p.m., Stratford Police officers, who happened to be in the area at the time, pursued a suspect who was running from the area.  The suspect eluded capture. The male victim, age 37, who works as a bouncer at the lounge, was located on the sidewalk at the entrance door on Barnum Avenue, suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen, Bridgeport Police said. …
