$31M Trip-Fall Fraud Scheme Results In Convictions For NY Attorney, Doctor
An attorney and doctor have been convicted of defrauding New York businesses and their insurance companies of more than $31 million through a massive trip-and-fall fraud scheme. Following a three-week trial, a jury in Manhattan just convicted George Constantine, a lawyer, and Andrew Dowd, an orthopedic surgeon, for their participation in the scheme from 2013 and 2018. Doctor Shot, Killed By Disgruntled Patient In Tulsa Has Ties To Northeast
One of the victims in the mass shooting at the Tulsa, Oklahoma hospital has ties to the Northeast. Dr. Preston J. Phillips was a Harvard Medical School graduate who worked at the Yale New Haven Hospital for years during his residency before ultimately landing as an orthopedic surgeon at the hospital where he was murdered.
