String Of Thefts From Vehicles Reported In Neighboring Darien Homes Two neighbors on a quiet residential street had several cars broken into when they were left unlocked overnight, police said. Officers on patrol from the Darien Police Department responded to Midbrook Lane shortly after 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 8, where they found several cars that had been burglarized. According to police, the first homeowner stated that three vehicles parked in his driveway with unlocked doors were burglarized overnight, and police said a 2004 Lexus GX, a Ford Explorer and 2018 Mitsubishi Outback all showed signs of being entered.
