Two-Alarm House Fire Breaks Out In Candlewood Lake Area Two cats are missing after a two-alarm house fire broke out overnight in the Candlewood Lake area of Danbury. Just before 1 a.m. Saturday, the Danbury Fire Department was dispatched to 8 Indian Spring Road in the Candlewood Lake area for the report of a chimney fire, said James Gagliardo, public information officer for the Danbury Fire Department.  Engine 23 arrived on scene first and encountered an attached garage with fire coming through the roof.
