There have been reports just past noontime of snowfall moving west to east, but not sticking to surfaces where the temperature is above freezing. Nearly the entire region should see snowfall at times between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. with generally about 1 to 2 inches of accumulation expected during that time frame. Stamford Motorist Had BAC Over Twice Legal Limit, Police Say A 30-year-old man charged with DWI in Westchester had a blood-alcohol level twice the legal limit, police say. New York State Police initiated a traffic stop on I-287 in the city of Rye for a violation on Saturday, Nov. 16 around 4:35 a.m. The driver, identified as Fernando Reynoso, of Stamford, was found to be intoxicated, police say. Reynoso was arrested, transported and processed at SP New Rochelle, where police say his BAC was tested at .19. Lane Closures Scheduled For I-95 Roadwork A series of lane closures have been scheduled for I-95 in Westchester, according to the New York State Thruway Authority. One lane of I-95 northbound and I-287 eastbound will close Friday, Sept. 6 at 10 p.m. until Monday, Sept. 9 at 6 a.m. as road crews install precast pavement slabs as part of the “Last Mile” infrastructure project.
