Man In Stolen U-Haul Tracked Down After Stealing Items From New Canaan Business, Police Say A man driving a stolen U-Haul who allegedly robbed a local business was tracked down at a gas station in New Canaan, police said. Investigators from the New Canaan Police Department received a report on Monday, Aug. 5 from employees of a Grove Street business who said a man - later identified as Hoyt Moyles - who was acting suspiciously. The suspect allegedly took several items from the business without permission and took off in a U-Haul. The employees were able to provide investigators with a photograph of the vehicle and the license plate. A check of the plate determined that the U-Haul …
