Two Injured In Car Crash & Explosion Overnight In Danbury
DANBURY, Conn. — Two people who suffered burns in a car explosion overnight in Danbury were sent to the hospital for treatment, fire officials said. A car rolled over, exploded and was destroyed by fire in an accident at about 3:40 a.m. Saturday near 167 Long Ridge Road, said James Gagliardo, public information officer for the Danbury Fire Department. The Danbury Fire Department's “A” shift companies were dispatched and found the car totally engulfed in flames, Gagliardo said.
