19: CT Infection Rate Climbs Over 3.5 Percent; New Breakdown By County, Community
The positive COVID-19 infection rate in Connecticut is back on the rise as the number of unvaccinated residents continues to clog up the state's hospitals. In his latest COVID-19 update, Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont said that there were 26,603 COVID-19 tests administered on Tuesday, Sept. 7, resulting in 935 laboratory-confirmed cases of the virus. The 3.51 percent daily positivity rate is up from 2.60 percent over the weekend. 19: Infection Rate Back Below 3 Percent In CT; Latest Breakdown Of Cases By County
The positive COVID-19 infection rate in Connecticut was back down below 3 percent as the state continues to contend with new variants of the virus. Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont said that there were 23,994 COVID-19 tests administered on Tuesday, Aug. 31, resulting in 712 new laboratory-confirmed cases of the virus.
