On Sunday, an unidentified man went into Walgreens Pharmacy at 700 Bridgeport Ave. and reported the accident, which later became a fatal crash, police said.
Police said they are looking for this man and hope to talk to him. The man is considered a witness, and there is no indication that he was involved with the crash, police said.

Edmund Conklin, a 17-year-old senior and star athlete, was killed the rollover crash, police said.
Conklin was thrown from his car in a crash at 4:45 a.m. on Bridgeport Avenue and died later of his injuries at Bridgeport Hospital, police said.
The crash was between Crown Point Plaza and Long Hill Cross Roads, police said.
The Shelton Police Accident Reconstruction Team responded to the scene and was investigating the crash, police said. No further details were released by police.
The Shelton High School crisis team was set up and offered counseling and other services to students on Monday, Superintendent Chris Clouet said in a statement.
"Sadly, I must communicate with all of you that a young man, a senior at Shelton High School, died today as a result of a car accident. More details will be forthcoming," Clouet said.
"First and foremost, this is a family tragedy; secondly, a shock to the entire school community. For Shelton High School students, support will be available at the high school. Please hold this young man in your thoughts and prayers."
Calling hours for Edmund Tyler Conklin will be Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton. On Saturday, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. at St. Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Ave., Shelton. Burial will be private in Lawn Cemetery in the spring.
